will throttle up for about 100yds then bogs down wait a couple min will go again

I have a 96 and 04 the 96 has a black cap on the exhaust pull the cap off it lets gasses out the spring is probably stuck. mine dose this usually at the beginning of the season

Above are some cheap checks to try. It sounds like it may be losing fuel like the cap not venting and it builds up a vacuum in the tank until you slow down. The next thing I question may be the Carb. You may want to question some Dealers if this a common problem. But, a friend's boat was doing something similar and it turned out a float was sinking as it absorb fuel. How we checked; a mechanic said to remove the float and put in a jar of gas. The next day it was not floating as high.

On my previous Pontiac, changing the valve meant the idle speed became into very severe for roughly 3 minutes, then because of the fact the pc began adjusting the pintle, the cost got here down... So, enable it run for no less than a couple of minutes to allow the pc to circulate the pintle...if after a number of minutes it is not dropping the idle, the recent valve is probable defective.

I had that same problem with mine. Try changing the sprak plugs regularly. With the older jet skis build up breaks the connections and can cause them to run strange.

Check the vent on the tank.Or cap Does it have a overheat slow down???
