Life is beautiful in the sense that it offers an opportunity to do a lot of good. Opposed to life is death which does not offer any pang or pleasure.Life offers infinite possibilities.Life makes one a dreamer. However, life may offer sufferings. But these are lessons and they enable us to show the resilience and fortitude and let us develop the skill and talent. They make us attain something higher that we would not have in ordinary circumstances.Sufferings allow us to see the silver lining in the dark clouds.

..... well I like this question it is very philosophical...

emmmm let me think....

Life is definitely BEAUTIFUL but it may not always feel this way for individuals.

Regardless of whether we agree or not LIFE will ALWAYS remain BEAUTIFUL ... and we should crave for it ...

Some people are happy whilst others are unhappy.....because of the most simplistic thing....
Themselves....

In order to appreciate the beauty of life we have to do the following:

1) Love ourself
2) Love others
3) Be satisfied with whatever we have at any given time
4) Strive for more but don't let our needs take over our mind.
5) Do fun little things to make ourself happy i.e. eat an icecream, watch our fav tV show, meet up with a friend that makes us laugh, Be nice to someone today it will come back to you, go shopping with £5 and pick up a bargain even if you are a millionaire, achieve something you always wanted and then reward yourself for it.
6) Look for love if you find it keep it never lose
7) Look for love if you lose it get it back
8) Look for love if you have it appreciate it
9) Have a family of your own and look after them
10) Appreciate the world and everything in it.
11) Know that nothing lasts forever not even life so live it to the full
12) Search for that missing part of you ... is it G-d, is it a missing particle. When you find it you will be complete.

Wow I can't believe I wrote that! I feel quite happy now.

Yes, life is beautiful. Crave it? I'm not sure what you mean by that. But I see many people as unhappy because at every given moment you cannot have what you want. Happiness is temporary and subject to conditions such as comfort level, wants being satisfied and mood. Joy is a constant that you can carry with you no matter what your situation, but that joy can only be found when you find your purpose in life and know why you are here. This joy will carry you through. My joy is in knowing that I was created and put here for a purpose. Peace!

I'm going to quote a song. "Life is beautiful. But it's complicated." Unhappiness is hard to define because happiness is even harder to define. I wouldn't describe life as beautiful. I think some moments are. And some people. But there is so much going on, people are so different and yet so similar, that life is just too complicated to define. Should we crave it? Considering we're never placed on this earth by volunteering for it, it's hard to say.

yes.
just the fact that we have been given a chance to have a life is reason enough to be happy.
it is not true that most people are unhappy.
happiness and sorrow are both vital parts of life. the sad times are the ones that make the happy moments seem special.
and people who are always unhappy are just the way they are.
you cant change the many situatoins in life, but we can alter the way we look at it.
i think you would have seen the roberto benigni movie 'life is beautiful', then you will understand what i mean.
life is 10% how you make it and 90% how you take it.
enjoy the gift of life. keep smiling. :)

"That which is beautiful, is not always good and that which is good is always beautiful."
And the rest depends on the individual- does s/he want the good and then internally beautiful or the beautiful yet questionably good? And once the person finds out, he finds out why he's happy or unhappy, and what exactly it is he's really craving for.

Life is beautiful if you have the wisdom to understand it. Crave for small moments of happiness and change it into beautiful memories to be recollected at leisure .Unhappy are those who live for themselves and have very little to share with others and those who do not criticise others but live life with their wisdom ,courage and determination are happy .Happy people even in the busiest moments try to lend sometime to those who need them without hoping for any return.

life has its beautiful moments but its not always beautiful. some people are lucky or make their own luck and things turn out the way they want. while others, have bad luck or make bad choices that lead them to unhappiness. also, some people are just unhappy no matter what (good to stay away form those types they like to spread it around).

I agree with you most people are not happy in this world. But if you watch their daily activities you will find the answer, that is they never try to be happy, or they are always thinking about their problems but not for the way to solve this. All are having problems you, me and everyone we can pass through it by finding the best solutions. If you see someone is feeling sad atleast make him happy or simpley follow your work. It will be his problem. Don't worry about their. bye.
