Perhaps. But are you only remembered until the people who remember you pass on? So are we missed if only for a short time? And who is around to miss those that miss us? Would you prefer to miss someone or have someone miss you??

Nobody missing me when I'm gone or somebody missing me when I'm gone...that question is just so sad anyway I try to think about it. Bummer
