A-Rod, not even close. Some of those guys are having great seasons, but nothing like A-Rod. His power/average combination beats anyone else's by a mile, and he is playing Gold Glove-caliber defense this season, although Chavez will most likely win it again because once a player wins so many it's hard for someone to take it away from him.

Thats easy. a-Rod by far. He's on pace for 60 homers and almost a rbi per game. He's also adjusted nicely to 3rd and is the main reason the Yankees are still in semi-contention.
He's also come up clutch many times. Walkoff grand slam vs. orioles. Walkoff hr vs Indians. Hope this is enough reason.
