The crown grades Fine to gFine, in my opinion, but has a few rim dents and was probably cleaned. Price for an 1896 Veiled Head crown in gFine is about £20, but I have to take into consideration the nicks, mark on the neck, possible cleaning, and revalue it at £10, whether it's regnal year LIX or LX on edge.

There are 2 of them, one has LIX on the edge that is the rarest, the other has LX on the edge. It has a lot of what is called rim bumps. Retail the LIX version $20 the other $15.It had a mintage of 317,599. very small for these times but not then, so it is not a rare date.
