Lemon juice or vinegar (on the glass part only). Put in a spray bottle and spray well. Leave it on for a while.
Be sure to rinse it very well.

One of the best things I do is soak a towel or two in vinegar and drape it over the doors ( you can also spray the doors really well and wrap them in saran wrap ). Leave it for at least thirty minutes and it shoule have loosened it up enough to pretty well wipe it away. I do it for my faucets as well. If you find that around your fixtures is too hard to get off, then get this stuff called Bar Keepers Friend (it is in the cleaning section at Wal-Mart). Make a paste with it and use it around your faucets with a tooth brush. Comes right off. I have used it to whiten the grout in my bathroom as well. It also gets rust and cast iron scratches off of porcelain sinks and tile.

I always clean the tub/shower with Kaboom. It can be found at most grocery/department stores, and it cleans my shower really well. Not sure how bad your shower is, but I would try Kaboom.

Use the scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner. It hangs from your shower head and you press the button once a day. It cleans buildup already there and then maintains your shower, I love it and I haven't had any trouble with my glass shower at all.

I haven't tried this but I came across a tip yesterday in Good Housekeeping. It said to use RainX, which is actually for car windshields. It's worth a shot!
