I know that Yahoo has purged Answers of left-wing opinion - I was the victim of censorship myself. But it's fascinating that there are so many ardent pro-war posters when America is now unified against Bush's war crime. Aren't you people aware of what goes on in the real world?

No, I can think of at least 30 friends and family off the top of my head who are Bush supporters and do not use yahoo answers.

I'm addicted to Yahoo Answers because I learn something new every day and it makes me think. Everyone has at least one subject or area they know a lot about, and Yahoo Answers gives the expert inside each of us a chance to spread that knowledge around!

Yep, I live in the real world. You seem to only see what it is you want to see. You see pro-war types because that's all you want to see.

A good way to relate this is:
You go and buy a new car, a blue one for example. You drive away to whatever destination you choose. On your journey you notice car after car that is exactly like yours. They were on the roads before you bought your car but you only noticed them AFTER you bought it.

Now both sides have been purged of their answers and questions here. You just bought into the left's propaganda about how the right is not suppressed in their speech. I feel the same way about the left as you do the right but lately I have connected with few on the left and now it seems that ALL of them aren't bad, just the outspoken ones.

It's amazing. As I've watched this lunacy that is the Bush administration unfold over the last 6 years, I never cease to be flabbergasted. Early on, after 9/11, he had my support and everyone else's that I knew. Then little by little one thing after another occurred which was troublesome, and then we invaded Iraq for whatever reason, and each day with each new bit of information, it became increasingly clear that the emperor had no clothes. And still we have folks who refuse to believe their own eyes. There are folks that refuse to acknowledge the obvious, and a disproportionate number of them find their way here.

Of course we are aware of what is going on in the world! Are you aware that Al Quaeda is now stronger than before this war started? I simply don't want another "unfinished" outcome of this war, such as we experienced in Vietnam!
It may become patently clear that the Iraqiis aren't up to snuff w/ regards to governing themselves and, if this is the case, then we probably should leave. When we do leave, w/o everything in place, the vultures will move in and take over that country that has already suffered so much.

What you are finding is ... the stats you've been fed are misleading... and there are more supporters than CNN wants you to know.
Y/A censors, only based on complaints...and there are plenty of complainers on both sides.
The Y/A community is a representative sample of Americans
