If I have a 250 gb harddrive, and one 130 gb partition, and another 100 gb partition, can i dual boot vista? the 130 gb partition has MS XP, but if I get vista, can i install and dual boot in the 100 gb partition? Will vista recognize the second partition and install there? Do i need to intsall drivers and everything again on the new vista? thanks

Do i have to boot into the cd? Or can i just insert it and start the process?

Yes you can. When doing the Vista install, you will be asked which partition you want to install the program into. Simply select the 100GB partition, and the install program will do the rest.

yes, you'll be able to dual boot w/ vista on the second partition (its how i had RC1 installed )

and yes, you will need to install vista drivers
