Its so annoying when you do that!
I got in my boyfriends car once and he asked if i could wait until he pulled up in the car and get out so i could have a cigarette. I said yeah no problem - 5 seconds later i was lighting up and he had a right go at me! I explained i forgot but he didnt believe me!!!!
Oh well!

yep happens to me all the time like when im in the supermarket and i think oh I must get that then a minute later I've forgotten so frustrating

Yeah, it happens to me all the time. Once, I was about to ask a question on Yahoo Answers and when I got on the question page- I completely forgot what I was asking!

lol - hate it.... i'm forever going upstairs, only for me to forget what the hell i've gone up there for in the first place ! and it seems to be worse now i have become a mother...... i swear - they must put something in the epidural medication that causes women's brain cells to turn to jelly. lol
