Yes, I have, it taught me to think about what I want to say before I say it and if I said it, then I would have to deal with the consequences.

A long time ago, many years ago, I was talking about a friend, and she overheard me, and she confronted me, and she was in tears, and I really, really learned a hard lesson that day!

It took me a whole day, lots of apologies, and a card and flowers and candies, and treating her out to dinner, to be her friend again, we ended up being friends, but she never trusted me the same way again.

I learned the hard way, and now I am more careful!

As I got older, maturity played a big part in it!!!

Just remember, think before you talk!

No regrets. Just accept that it happened and move forward. You can't spend the rest of your life wishing you didn't say anything or you're not really a complete person.

Absolutely. I think most everyone has been in this situation. Sometimes the brain just can't control the mouth in time which then leads to destruction. lol

All the time. I speak before I think and that's gotten me into a few arguments that I could have avoided.

Everyone has. I try hard to think before I speak. Words you can't take back.

Yes!

This is called foot-in-mouth disease and everyone gets it now and then.

There is no going back, but you can apologize and ask for forgiveness.
