im not a cheater, but in a lobby @ a gamesite sum1 was complaining about a cheater. im just trying 2make sense of their blabber. is it a non-trader? or is it a non-fair trader? thoze 2theories r the only 2 i could think of them talkin about, & if thats wut it is, then i guess ive played them b4. ive always considered them a drag. i HAV ran in2 1 person who had incredible nerve w/ the crappy trades.

personally, i dont understand the point of cheating, it ruins the fun of trying 2get points(or wutevr). or just simply trying 2hav fun.

As some wise man once said, the best way to steal from a bank is to own it! If you are the bank owner, you can deal out less money to other players, more to yourself, you can do anything with money taken or given, cause you own the bank. there are other ways, such as gangin up on a person (when one person is winning and the others can only win if they cheat together). If you are playing with a very non observant person, you can move an extra space or two, and if you are really into cheating (im not, but my sister says I do when I win) you could switch out dice and use loaded, or fixed, dice. It is strange, monopoly is my favorite game, the game I am best at, and I NEVER cheat at it. Checkers and sorry, on the other hand...

Monopoly rules can be very easily manipulated, especially with someone who does not have a strong grasp of the rules. The banker can slip a few hundred dollars here or there. Another player can brush the board and move the playing pieces so that an opponent can land on a high rent property. Also, there are many "family rules" that don't apply to the real rules which could get you in a sticky situation.

If you are playing in a tournament, make sure you understand all the rules completely. Most tournaments have referees to answer questions (at least this is what I have read).

As far as trading goes, every property has different values which rises as you go around the board. When you trade, you are invariably trading a property that has less value for one that has more value. I have played my computer game where I have traded both up and down successfully (and not successful also). Usually, I end up with a lower monopoly than my trader, but if you read books on Monopoly, you will find that such trading can be very lucrative to you. And no, trading is not cheating.

I've seen the sticky fingers at work. Or you know someone's almost broke, next news you know they're coming out with a couple 500's.

Collusion.... two people ganging up on one person. As Dane Cook once said: "There's only one way a game of monopoly can end - *smacks board up in the air* - F you grandma, you win!"
