no its not weird at all. a lot of people read it...my sister is 18 and she reads it...JK rowling is a very clever writer and she entices all sorts of people of all ages. 1-101.
so dont be embarassed to read the books or dont think its weird for a 16 year old to read them because its not.

so keep on reading and take care.

They're recommended from 12 up. There is obviously no upper limit, as all the adults I've spoken to who have read them have loved them, including my wife's granny who is 94!

I can't wait for my 4 year old daughter to be old enough for them, so that I can enjoy them all over again reading them with her!

Ah the earlier ones i would say for all ages but for 4 through 6 (most likely 7) there is violence and death.

i think the first one was pointed a a younger audience. and as you know from the books and movies it gets better and darker as it goes, so i think she has made it for 1 age area and advanced as they grow up.
if you get what i mean lol
hope this helped!
