I am a Paul Simon fan, but my grown kids make fun of me because I always sing "Mama Pajama rolled out of bed and she ran to the police station......."

So, although I think much of his S & G writing (Bridge of Troubled Water, America, The Boxer) is beautifully lyrical and intelligent, the tune that springs to mind is "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard".

i like them all have the album in my car. gracelands is good, diamonds on the souls of his shoes. when lady smith black mobsa are combined into the songs it sounds really good. i was brought up listening to paul simon, simon and garfunkel, cat stevens and even though im only 27 i will admit i think the older songs are better as they have a meaning in the lyrics as so many songs now dont. ;-)

Graceland.

Odd you ask. I was just listening to it this morning, and I don't think I had heard it in a year or more.
