What does, "... graphics with up to 623MB of video memory — 128MB dedicated..."
And, Video memory: 623MB
Video memory type: Partially shared ?

Does it mean it basically has 128 MB & takes the rest from the system or does it mean it does have 128 MB and can hold up to 623 MB?
I would be grateful in reasonable responses.

It means the former- that it has 128mb of dedicated memory and can "borrow" the rest from the system- which isn't desirable. Video cards like the GeForce NX7300LE sport this so-called feature- the more total memory your system has, the more the card will steal. It makes cards cheaper to manufacture, but doesn't help the end-user. Just say NO to shared memory!

Always opt for a real video card over integrated graphics- even an entry-level 7300GT for $50 is far superior to integrated video. Just make sure whichever card you get has 256mb or more of onboard memory and doesn't resort to these late-night informercial shared-memory schemes.
