When I was a kid, we used to put our cat in a laundry basket and let it go sailing down the steps from the second floor to the first. He loved it. Would jump in the basket for more.

no we put the tap on the cat's side and peanut butter in it's mouth.... putting it on the cats side would result in one of two outcomes... it would either start walking around in circles according to which side the tape was on or would go really still and fall on the side with the tape... really funny...

No, we like to play wheelbarrow with the cat, and get her high on catnip and make her chase the mouse in circles till she passes out...
but i might try that...
