Grab a dictionary. Look up black. It has negative connotations attached to it.
Look up white. It has nothing but excellent words attached to it.
Who wrote the dictionary? Someone white. It's not a coincidence. Yeah, the writer would have us believe that black is a bad thing, but it's not. Black is strong and beautiful.

Black has always know to be one of the scary colors throughout the history of the world. Black also happens to be the sexiest, and my favorite color. But that has nothing to do with African Americans.

The figurative references are vestiges from the past and given the connotation a more appropriate set of adjectives should be devised.

the connotation has nothing to do with skin color, if you actually think about it, black people are not really "black" like whites are not really "white", using black as a negative adjective come from primal fear to darkness, that is why all things that come from that darkness or have the color of it are described as bad or evil.

"Black" people is just something that other people call african americans, they are not actually the color black, just like white people are not actually the color white. You're referring to a color associated with words like blackmail, it has nothing to do with the race of a human.

black is not a bad thing,it is just we are used to imply black as somthing gloomy or dark. when you look at black it seems to be murky, unclear... it's more related to the feeling that the color black gives to you..
