I have a Suzuki Forenza and it's a 2005, sadly my headlights just started to not work. The only way they do work is if I drive around with my brights on which I am sure lots of people would not appreciate that. I have no idea what I may need to replace or what I need to do. And I really don't want to have to take my car in because it probably is not that big of a problem to fix myself. If you have any ideas at all let me know please.

The other day I replaced the bulbs, but it still doesn't work, I also replaced the fuse, but that didn't work either so if anybody can think of anything else it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I guess it would just be best to take it to a shop.

Because low beams at 40% are the daytime running lamps on cars these days the low beam filaments burn out first. Here is the problem getting to the bulbs can be hard to do. Auto-Parts store will have the bulbs do not touch the glass on the new bulb funger oils can shorten the life of a new bulb. Put in the exact replacement (#9007) or (9004) Just examples of bulb numbers They will have the list.

You can probably replace the bulb yourself. Go to any store where they sell auto parts and find the bulb section. It doesn't necessarily need to be an auto parts store--Walmart sells them too. There should either be a book or a touch screen where you can look up or enter your car's make, model, year, etc. and it will tell you which bulb you need.

Replacing it is probably pretty easy. I'm not familiar with that specific car but you can probably just open the hood and access the plug from the back, take out the old bulb, and put in the new one. Check the owner's manual for specific instructions.

I forgot to mention that you shouldn't touch the new bulb with your bare hands. Use a paper towel or something when you hold it. It's like John Paul said, the oils from your fingers can be bad for the bulb.

It sounds like the low beam relay has gone bad. This is in the fuse panel under the hood. Your owner's manual will show you which slot. You can also go to Pep Boys, Auto Zone, O'Riely's and other such parts stores and they can show you too.

Maybe he's a nice guy who's trying to impress you? Maybe he's looking for more than he should this early in your friendship? It's not up to people on here to decide or tell you what to do. Listen to your heart and do what it tells you! Like httnmrrtt said he may want in but he can't get in without your permission. Use your personal power as a self-respecting, beautiful woman. :)

You did not specify if it was both headlights or just one. If both, it is either a relay or the switch. If only one, it will be the bulb.

Go to a parts store and ask a person that sells them to look at your car, they usually can tell whether you can replace it by yourself or not:

YOUR PROBLEM COULD BE IN THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH ASSEMBLY.

BUT THIS SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER YOUR WARRANTY.
