At this point in my life, you bet. I have been let down sooooo many times by my own family. I expect nothing and do it myself. I only depend on myself these days and it has definately cut down on the bull sh*t drama in my life. The old saying goes, If you want it done right, do it YOURSELF!;)

I have high expectations of myself, and assume others do the same for themselves. Don't always meet them, but, that's life. To paraphrase Dory in "Finding Nemo,"

No I have high expectations of others.. & they know this.. therefore they work harder to achieve.

My expectations arent too high.. that they cant succeed...

But high enuf they DO Accomplish things. & Make their selves proud as well as me.

Yes it is sad but true. I never expect anyone to be what they say they are or do what they say they can do. I guess that protects me from being hurt or feeling like fool.
