Yes, some rather nasty A's above from the American chavs.
I have just returned from a tour, of the Cotswold towns, that's in England, for the benefit of the thick over the pond lot. Its very beautiful and so British. It did rain almost every day, but there are so many things to see and do, we hardly noticed.
We met a lot of American and Japanese visitors and I think they understood that Britain has never had a (summer) like this. It is the same all over north west Europe. I think they enjoyed themselves, don't worry they'll be back, our islands have so much to offer.

I live here, and it always does rain here. Just about to start building an ark as soon as it stops for a few hours!
