Does the supermarket you frequent have the little kiosks that hand out the free samples of foodstuffs?.
And if so do you ever take a sample or simply walk on by?.

My regular supermarket will simply have a bowl of some product they are promoting sitting out with the samples. I do not take one as they have been unattended and therefore, I do not know if anyone has manhandled it. Occasionally, at the super discount store they will have the samples. I mostly always pass them by. Rarely, if I am very hungry, I may eat the samples, but I have had my share of mishaps so, not very often. Once, I took a spicy sample of something that took my breath away with no drinks or water fountain in sight. Eeek!

They have free samples on the weekends and at night. Yes, I always take a free sample- sometimes I find something yummy that I want to purchase.

I try the sample if it interests me and if I have wanted to try that product it a good way of not wasting my money if I didn't like it I'm glad to have try before I bought and have saved my money,

Well if it is a sample of something that I like, perhaps I will take one. I like stuff with extra virgin olive oil and 20 year old Balsamic Vinegar.

Most times, I walk past the sample counters. If my kids are with me, they may grab a cookie or something....

Just walk on by because i don't know where there hands have been or even if the preparer washed there hands

yes I do sometimes , depends what they are giving away free, I like hot spicy things , not sugary sweet things , have not seen one for months now , but the liquer stores have wine give away samples every weekend :)

i walk by, it doesnt seem like a food id eat, so i dont try the sample.
