He has 495 as of this morning (July 13th). I'm going to a game on Tuesday and would love to see him hit his 500th then, but that's probably an unrealistic expectation.
I think there's a good chance he'll do it during this next homestand, though. 8 games to play at home between the 16th and the 22nd.

I would think less than a week. I mean if he's five away, i'd say less than a week. You might have a good chance of seeing him do it.

Sometime between July 29th and August 2nd.
A lot of people have said it will happen within a week, but that may be expecting too much. Even with his monster April, and the fact that he's leading the major in homers, he's averaging about a homer every 2.8 games. Hitting 5 homers in 6 or 7 games would be tough, even for A-Rod.
It could happen, if he has a big game and hits 3 homers or something. But it will more likely happen late July or very early August.

At the rate he's going and considering the fact that the Yankees are playing the Devil Rays this weekend, he very well might hit his 500th homerun next week.
