10. He has controversies with his managers and clubs all around - this makes him great subject to gossip about - just think of the 'flying boot' incident with Fergusson.
I hope these are enough reasons to satisfy you about the speciality of Beckham to his fans - but to an avid football lover, he is just one of those players who showed great talent but failed when the time really came to prove and yeat came back from each tight corner.

Well, it's not that he's a football star as he can't play football. Maybe, it has something to do with the stupid childish fashions that he tried to create. Those ear rings and stupid hair cuts (which were done by a local butcher for 10p) made his name. He's famous simply because he was marketed well and had top publicists and a good promoter. To finalise his popularity, he married Posh. That wedding was supposed to be the latest Charles and Di and it attracted world-wide interest. However, Becks must be seriously disappointed that Posh carries more plastic than him LOL

Well, he has awsome abs, have you seen them in W magazine with Posh Spice? I have never heard him speak and I never her smiling, so other than that, I don't know what is so special.

he will be remembered as the most overrated player in the history of British football 30 yrs from now, he was good but has lost his talent in a sea of sponsorship money and his wifes seeming inability to do anything but to look constantly psychotic ( those crazy eyes!!!)
