How come when you go to the hospital for a surgery, they tell you to bring pads and then sure enough about 1-2 days after the anesthia your period starts! This hasn't only happened to me, its happened to alot of other females I know. . . why does this happen? Is it a true period (does it start your cycle all over) or is it psuedo?
Thanks

It's possibly down to -
a) the period is due
b) the relaxation of the woman's body muscles, tissue etc. or
c) both a) and b)
