need yahoo, google, msc for hotmail, and would like to have the right icon on them please help.

To create an icon on the desktop to take you to a specific web site (such as google or yahoo) do the following:
Open IE and go to the website (say "yahoo.com")
Resize the window so you can see part of the Desktop
Use the "Add a Favorite" to add a link to that page to your Favorites listing
Drag that Favorite from the list to the Desktop
It will create a shortcut on the Desktop that takes you to "yahoo.com"
Repeat the process for the other sites you want to "icon".

just go to the site, right click, select send to, then desktop . . . . is that what your trying to do?
