Battery water should be slightly acidic. Condensate water from air-conditioner is not acidic. However, condensate water from cooling tower can be used for many many purposes, in fact you can drink it also.

Condensate from de-humidifiers and airconditioners fall into the same catagory. As the droplets form and drop into a pan the water is exposed to atmosphere. There's a very high probability that the water will be contaminated with airborn dirt. It still is a good practice to pick up a sealed gallon of distilled water from a grocery store for your in your battery.

Distilled out of dirty airconditioning evaperator coil would not work very well in a battery. Just go to the grocery and buy a bottle of water.
