When I looked into oncoming headlights of a car as it crashed into me, the moment after the crash, i felt immortal... as i walked away from an accident that would typically leave someone near death.

My last feeling of immortality was about three years ago, I had over dose and a hand full of different pills ranging from xannax, vicodine, Demerol and some morphine tabs, now first let me say I wasn't trying to kill myself, I was just in a bad place and thought that sleeping for a few days would help. anyways the feeling came over me when the doctors told me, that they thought they had lost me and that I wasn't coming back, I had flat lined for just under a minute. The next when I was in bed and getting the talk from the hospitals Head Shrink, all I could think of was how great I felt and that it felt like death just could not keep a grip on me.

I did a long time ago, but it was an illusion brought on by illegal drugs. I don't do those anymore, I've snapped back to reality.
