I've just come back from the shop with a four pack. It won't stop it raining but I'll feel better. The missus has hidden the rope, which I have noosed. Next year we are starting to go abroad again. Shame as Britain is so beautiful.

Of course it isn't, just seen long range forecast, same all August, never mind soon be Xmas. Sitting here now rain pouring down temp.14 degrees. I've known better Xmas days. Can I join you if I bring a bottle, I would say a litre of Glenmorangie is appropriate for the situation. It may stave off the Harri Kari bit for a while.

It is sure to stop raining some time.
Let's just hope it doesn't rain on Sunday, which is 15 July, so St. Swithin's Day.
The tradition is that if it rains on that day, it will rain for a further 40 days,

Hey stand up and be British, the weather shouldn't stop you from having fun, I have had BBQ's in the rain, gone to the beach and swam in the sea, rain shouldn't stop you from having fun.

At least with the rain, we don't have to worry too much about protecting ourselves from the sun, to protect against skin cancer.. Three cheers for the rain.

I have been assured by a friend that the weather will change on 14th July. They also tell me that it will be sunny for Christmas.
