I am not being bullied but am being philosophical.

Killing yourself offers you no gain; killing the bullies, while giving one a personal satisfaction for the moment, simply brings you down to their level.
The ultimate victory is to bring the bullies around to your side.

Neither. If a person is non-conforming it probably means that they don't care much what other people think so why care about what they say?

I don't care what other people think as long as I know where I stand and plus I also hate to conform 'just because'. It really helps if you try something like taking up a martial art. I did when I was 12yrs old and have been doing it now for over 10yrs. It's good not because you can beat people up but because you gain higher self esteem and a sense of inner peace when you know you can defend yourself against bullies if you need to. Trust me, when you have this confidence you rarely have to actually touch anyone. Bullies only pick on people who can't or won't defend themselves. If they know your not scared of them (and they can tell by the confidence in your voice/body language) then they will pretty soon give up and find someone else to bully.

dont kill anyone! this is going to sound oh-so cliched but the bully is the one with the problem, not you. I don't fit in at my school, but ive learned to ignore the lame immature insults because those people are so insecure they have to bring others down to feel good about themselves. if you cant ignore them, then find an outlet for your frustration (preferably not a shooting range).

shooting the bullies will not 'teach' them anything, you found only be made into a freak by the media, and they would be portrayed as victims. and dont kill yourself. life is a wonderful thing if you can manage to find those things that keep you going. next time they confront you, give them the finger and continute on your merry way. bullies are lame.

I found I started to look like a bully myself and that made us natural enemies. As soon as I say that and that I was feeling their pain and mine and that inside they were soft as me, I had compassion and they couldn't hurt me anymore. Compassion is actually love, you know what they are going through and can help them now that you have solved the defensive attitude. You just hear words and think it's funny. Some people laugh, but I don't. I figure often people have been laughing at them all their lives. I have been doing it long enough now that I know I can help them and give them a new life. Look at VA Tech and Columbine High. The guy needed help. Those at Columbine were aggressive until that didn't help anymore and they started a killing spree ending with themselves. The same syndrome, different manifestations until the end. Like a shy person is self centered just as a boastful one is. Different symptoms same disease. As you can see, thinking about helping someone else makes you forget yourself, as it's not about you, and gets you centered on the issue. The amazing thing is that you go from bad judgment to good, unpopular to popular and Cho, at VA Tech could have been the most insightful of students instead of how he ended up. Of course there's a bit more to it, but in that mode you can think straight to 'sense' or intuit what's best to do, say and not say.

A more prudent, less permanent choice might be to find another alternative. Keep the old options open, that sort of thing.
