As an Englishman who has just returned from a business trip to the USA i feel must ask this question.
Most Americans who i have met seem to be covered in what one could only describe as spots or dare i say it boils.
Is this due to the diet and lack of salad?

Good question based on factual evidence.
It is medically defined as 'yellow belly syndrome'.
This disease is limited to American people.
When American people are faced with hard facts that implicate them with terrible atrocities they try to concile the truth.
Attempting to keep quiet is difficult for Americans, therefore they break out in 'boils'. The boils are composed of the poison American people are genetically born with.
There is no known cure. Symptoms include constant angst, embarrassment, heavy perspiration, yearn to fight and a foul odour.
If you have any of the above symptoms you may be American.

This is a good observation, what you are seeing is that these people have British blood (DNA) in them, that is they are of British ancestry. This is what happens when British DNA is introduced into the Body Politic, the inferior British DNA causes harm to the good DNA resulting in mutations thus you have boils on the face, rotten teeth etc… Note this only happens to people of British lineage.

I do take on board what you have just noticed, but I have to say that this has a lot more to do with the nervous state of most Conservative Republicans state of mind.
It is almost a reaction to hating the truth.

I can understand that Americans are covered in spots, due to their eating and other lifestyle habits.
What I can't understand is why most Australians seem even more covered in spots, considering their "sun, sea, and surf" apparently healthy outdoor lifestyles.

Maybe, If you met some real Americans, and stayed out of the san fransisco bath houses, you wouldnt have seen people covered in spots. Those arent really spots, they are genital warts, and just how will explain the sudden appearance of your "spots".
