To help someone you know only to have that person call on you for everything? The more you do the more is expected?

yes, all the time because I had a hard time with my boundaries,tried everything and once you say "NO" then that person will leave you alone the magic word is once again"NO",say it with me now..."NO"...
just say "NO"...ok..I know its hard but once
you try it you will like it,,=-)

Yes I had to deal with that with a friend, and the more I helped him, the more he wanted until I just said bye bye, no more, you are on your own. I just hate when someone takes advantage of a good thing. I can not believe your first question was deleted. There was nothing wrong with your question what so ever. LOL That's the way some people work. Give a little and they want a lot more! I think it's because they know you did one thing to help, so why not ask again. They finally get you to the point you are sorry you ever bothered at all,

Yeah. I offered to do a majority part of a group assignment, and it ended up with me doing the whole thing instead

Yep. It's harsh sometimes, but you help the person with the important stuff, but tell them they need to grow up a bit and learn to handle their smaller problems themselves.
