Plato - Only in the severity of the crime maybe. The point is, I dont pay taxes to fund a police force that applauds negligent parents.

they are suspects because of the fact their daughter disappeared and there did not look any evidence of an outsider. the youngster's DNA became into modern-day of their employ care etc etc Michael W. that's often suspects that are interviewed by utilising the police. unusual that even in this the McCanns think of that they are diverse and above the regulation. they did not answer the Portugese police's questions final month because of the fact they slipped off to Belgium and waited for the police to circulate away formerly returning. How short your memory is. unusual to circulate to Liverpool to commemorate the anniversary of Madeleine's disappearance and to not the city she became into final considered alive. those are very unusual people.

Since the beginning of the incident the media and the police have all been acting weird. I can't believe they would give gerry standing ovation like that.......all because he and kate wanted to hang out with friends and left their kids unattended. If this is the reward for negligence then maybe the world has gone topsy turvy.

That the British police should conduct themselves as such and even listen to an individual who by his own admission is guilty of neglecting his child and by implication possibly more.

A standing ovation from those that may in the future be required to do there duty to the public and investigate a possible crime, that is disgraceful, is this what the British pubic pay high taxes for

What a strange thing to do. He must be paying out big bucks to keep everyone quite. He must be afraid of getting caught and he is trying every trick in the book to keep the attention away from him and Kate. For Gods Sake why don't they spill the beans of what they know (because they do know something) and help their own daughter. What kind of sick parents are they.

Does anyone know how many other parents of missing children were invited to this event as well as given a standing ovation for? Obviously Gerry's campaign is not working because we still know absolutely nothing about the night in question except she was left alone, and alot of lies were told.

Since it was a ceremony for bravery awards, perhaps because they respect his and Kate's bravery in mounting the campaign to keep Madeleine in the public's mind despite how they must be feeling.

I wasn't there but, aren't standing ovations a spontaneous thing? Doesn't it suggest that the assembled police genuinely felt that he deserved their applause?

Disgraceful. is this what i pay taxes for? To applaud Mccann? They should have arrested the loser, and questioned him about the night of May 3rd.
Just shows that even if our own police had investigated this case, influence from the top (our Gordy) would have prevented a proper and honest investigation.
