im doing an assignment about the social and cultural features of the 1970s, yet cant find any information about sport in reference to this decade.
if someone could possibly describe what sport was like, which sports were most favoured or even give me some sites about sport in the seventies that would be kindly appreciated.

City of Champions, Pittsburgh.
Pirates won World Series in 1971 & 1979
Steelers won Super Bowl in 1974,1975,1978 and 1979.
Pitt Panthers won NCAA Football championship in 1976.
