I had the pregnancy tests and they were all negitive. This is the second time it has happened to me, usually during my period. When I went to the ER the doctor was baffeled, and told me he has necer seem or headr of anything like this in 37 years of practice. I have never had any abnormal paps, I go annually.

If you're talking about blood clots, that used to be a regular occurance in my case. (I went through menopause in my early 40's.) Unfortunately, male doctors are often very uninformed about menstrual issues, especially older doctors. If that's what it is, it's related to having a moderate imbalance of hormones. It can be treated by taking birth control pills, or even by using the soy-estrogen tablets you find at drug stores. Getting the balance right can take some time. If you try the soy (phyto estrogen or isoflavones), start out with low dosages, about 15 milligrams. You may have to cut the tablets in half. But it's worth it; lighter periods and less bleeding. I was so relieved when I discovered this. (Even easier might be to just start using soy products like soy milk, tofu, etc.)

Please save a sample of it to take to your dr with you when you see them next so that they can evaluate this tissue further to see what they think is causing this.

Because of your periods, it's also possible that it could be just a bit of the uterine lining but please double check with your doctor to see what they say.
