He is a good Dad and whenever his ex calls or texts regarding anything he replies. He says it is normal and that he will always be there for her with regards to the kids. He swears that he would not go back to her and that they are just friends. She re-married a year ago but they split up 2 weeks ago. The son has started being a typical teenager and I feel that she is leaning on my bf too much! What do you think?

He always tells me when she texts and phones and lets me know when he has to go round to her house. The kids are always there when he goes round.

Do not ever try to get between a parent and their children. You will lose. If he is trying to help his ex get the child through the very difficult teenage years, then he is doing what every good dad should do. Quit letting your jealousy get in the way of a good relationship. This man is a good man. Respect him. If you were the ex with the problem child, wouldn't you want him to be ther to help you?

Be carefull. She is using her son to get back with the Dad. Talk to your bf about this and tell him that he must be carefull. he must stop replying the calls and texting messages.If he refuses to stop he may be seeing her behind your back.

she does need his support when it comes to a teen,but she also needs to learn how to handle situations on her own as well,think she is just lonely and needs a man around.
