After recovering form PID with no recurrence, it has been 8 months i haven't had my period and now i think i have secondary amenorhea. Ho can get back my MENSTRUAL CYCLE AN DFERTILITY naturally without having to take hormones or contraceptive pills? really i cannot take the hormones and the pills they are harmful for me for i am very sensitive to most medications?Please i need your help aI am stressed form fera of infertility in the long run an di am having nightmares...really i need your help anyway u can help.thanks

You can try to see if there are gynecologists around your town that offer natural hormone treatments that could be of help. If not, ask your dr about compounding hormones in a base that will not cause you to react in an adverse manner. I have friends who do this and have done real well with compounded hormones. It is done by special pharmacies that only compound (meaning that the medication is made in a special way for those that can't handle the meds in the normal way).

PIDs are really nasty infections and they can and do leave women infertile. Not always, but this does warrant a trip to a good gyn for a serious conversation. The infection leaves scar tissue that is usually the culprit. Your stress contributes to your amenorrhea. When you go to the doctor MAKE him listen to you and your concerns. Get some straight answers which include your fertility issues. Remember, you are the most important member of your health care team.
