As a native citizen of the United States I believe it is the best country in the world. However, if I were from any other country I might feel exactly the same about that place. National pride is not a bad thing, but it does not constitute a reality. It is merely a personal feeling. While I cannot say with absolute certainty that the United States is the best country in the world, what I can say is that I have visited many places around the world and I have yet to find another place I want to call home.

It is my gut reaction to say best in the Universe but I have not seen the Universe so I must limit my assessment of the country to greatest country on God's green Earth.

Perhaps it is the best country in the KNOWN Universe.

Since most Americans don't realize there is any other countries in the world apart from maybe Canada (which most Americans seem to think might as well be part of the states) and Mexico. It's a tough call but I think America is better than Mexico.

Unfortunately, neither.

For the first category, there are definite advantages to being an American citizen, but we aren't near the top of the list in two major categories:

Health Care
Education

Those deficiencies disqualify us from being the best in the world.

In the universe? Can't be, not if we aren't the best on this planet.

Neither but could be both if we would see it's weak points and work to fix them.
