I typed it wrong it should be this way:

4(3x-2) - 3x < 3(1+3x) - 7

First, remove the brackets. 4(3x-2) < 3(1+x) - 7
.................Becomes....... 12x - 8 < 3 + 3x - 7
Collect like terms........... 12x - 3x < 3 - 7 + 8
solve ................................ 9x < 4
