there is nail polish called thumb you can get and it taste like crap if you bite your nails.Or you could just get to the root of your problem and ask yourself what is making you chew on your nails? nervousness and anxiety have a lot to do with that.

cut them so short that you cannot bite them. This a habit. Anything you do for 29 days becomes a habit. Keep cutting them short every other day and you will have no nails to bite.

I've had that problem.
In the past few weeks I've launched a counter-attack.
I painted them red. It's like a stop-light. When I go to bite them, I see the red and it's like a signal to stop.
I'm happy to report, my nails have 3 weeks+ of new growth.
(they were starting to bleed before)

There is this stuff that you put on your nails like nailpolish, but it tastes really bitter. That should work, or accupuncture.

THis is probably helpless, but when i got my braces, i stopped biting them b/c it would hurt my teeth with them moving and all...but don't go get braces....they suck.
