My baby was the same, but she started sleeping through the night around 3 months. This is how I got her to sleep through the night...

At night, I'd give her a warm bath for about 15 minutes with that lavender baby bath.

After that, I'd give her a baby massage with the lavender baby lotion.

I'd feed her a bottle and put her to bed. It was very simple, but it worked.

Another thing that helped us out so much was this mobile at Target. It has lights, music and nature sounds. My daughter just loves it and still does to this day. She's 8 months now and I still put it on every night. :)

I dont understand your english very well so Ill try my best to reply. Your baby is only 2 months old so thats 8 weeks not all babies will sleep thru the night but because babies cannot talk they cry to communicate. Your baby is probably needing something maybe a cuddle maybe a feed (every Mummy fears they are not producing enough milk if your baby is putting on weight then Mummy is producing enough milk). Try more feeds during the day and that may settle her better at night. Try also wrapping her really tight in her blanket they like to feel safe and wrapped and darkness often helps also. Good Luck lack of sleep is something no one gets used too.

Hi there, well you must be so tired ! Well what i found is good is a nice luke warm bath and than a feed straight after the bath than wrap the baby up nice and snug and place her in her cot, she may very well go straight to sleep. Darkness is always good with maybe just a night light on so you can pop your head in to see how she is going. If this doesnt work, maybe try more or longer feeds through out the day, she may very well be hungry and not getting enough. I hope you get some peaceful sleep soon. good luck and congrats on your baby girl.

Parents always fear that the mother is not producing enough milk. It might not be the case. It's possible that the baby has colic (baby gas). If they mother is eating gassy foods it will be passed on in the breast milk. If it is about milk production supplement with formula first but talk to your pediatrician first to see if your baby isn't gaining weight and about your fears. The first months are stressful, especially during the growth spurts when the baby will feed about every hour and a half. Just take a deep breath and you both will get through it.

When your baby starts crying during the night, check to see if her diaper needs to be changed, offer her food, either by your wife nursing her or a bottle, and rock her until she falls back asleep. If you pick her up, change her and rock her afterwards, it will be much easier for your wife to breastfeed her. Your baby will likely continue to wake to be fed and comforted throughout most of the first year. She will wake less often as she grows older. My 7 month old only wakes 1 or 2 times during the night, but when he was a newborn it was every 2 hours or more. Just give your baby what she needs - a diaper change, food or comfort - and put her back to sleep. In a few months the day will come when you and your wife can sleep uninterrupted.

You don't stop a 2 month old infant from crying. It's normal for them to not sleep through the night. As far as Mommy and milk go, if Mom is not producing enough, supplement with formula. If the baby is hungry, she'll cry more.

Babies cry, that's how they communicate with us. With the milk issue, have the baby feed more often to bring on more milk. I know it is hard and you can feel like you are so alone but as parents you need to work together. Maybe try some relaxing music, have a bedtime routine like bath, feed from mum and then quietly place her into bed. Hope it helps :)

I have a 2 month old. one thing that may work is swaddling, where you wrap them somewhat tightly in a blanket. It reproduces the sensation of being tightly held in the mothers womb. Another option would be to maybe try placing the baby on their belly. Thats the only way mine will sleep through the night. Pacifiers work, and the baby may have colic... if thats the case there are usually OTC aides available to help soothe their tummy and allow them to sleep.

Your baby is probably hungry if you are not producing enough milk. You may need to sign up for wic. They can give you formula and if you baby isn't getting enough milk then that is why she is crying and you both can't get rest at night. Also talk to her doctor he or she may be able to help. Believe me when your little one is full you both can get some rest.

if you get a good answer for a crying baby, you could win the Nobel Prize for Peace. hehe
Supplement the breast milk twice a day with a bottle of formula.
Baby swings are great.
Please ask your baby's doctor to get the best advice.
