if you buy a wireless router do you still have to subscribe to a service plan with some company to connect to the internet???

Yes if you do not currently have internet you do. But if you buy the router for wireless internet you do not have to pay for wireless service.

Yes,router is the device thro which u connect the internet,u subcribe to a company for internet for a period,they will give u a cable that they will attach to ur wireless router and do some setting s on ur computer or laptop and walla u have net connection.

mainly ppl buy wireless router for a laptop so that u can keep the router in one placed fixed position and u can rome around with ur laptop in a room or the dinning,living room and still b connected to the internet without any wire attached to the laptop.

but it is useful for office use also, especially if u want to share the one connection with the other comps in ur office, jus attach the line to ur router,some settings on all and everyone in the office have net.

Of course! The wireless router is just a device that allows you to connect to whatever is on the other side of the router without using wires.

Yes. Internet is not free unfortunately. You will beable to connect to other computers connected to the router. That could be a plus but it doesn't seem like that's your intention. .

Yes you will need to have an ISP provider in order to get Internet from your router.
