I would not go so far as to say that I have fond memories of my Ex wife but equally I do not cringe when I think of her.
I do feel for the guy she's married to now, at one time he was a friend of mine.
I saw them both recently and he has lost his ready smile (that will teach him). She could not change me so after 18 years of marriage decided to look else where for some poor phuk she could remould, but that was 16 years ago so why would it bother me?

I think both, sometimes simultaneously.
I imagine they're always regaling my misdeeds to their new men.
Half the time I forget tho. Then sometimes you miss them dearly and wonder what if. I have very fond memories of one girl from my mid-twenties who is now married- sometimes I think that could have been me.
Oh well, all's fair in love and such rot. My stiff upper lip is trembling....

Bit of both - I really liked one ex lot and we split over a silly fight which still makes me a bit sad even now, another one started to get into drugs so he hit the road with no regrets at all.

I have two ex-wives and I do think fondly about both of them. It's in our nature (well, mine anyway) to only remember the good bits.
