I aint THAT bothered about it, but in angry because i think the Queen DID have a tantrum and DID walk out then ordered the bbc to say they messed up.
Typical, cover everything up eh.

I didn't know there was a row between the Queen and the BBC TV! I don't read or watch the news. A lot of it is fake, they think it entertains. Or it is always bad news. Let's have a positive news channel. Or a news channel where you can get the actual news of the day, whatever it is, nice and bad.
I actually read once that a war had finished somewhere, but because they were going to read about the war in that country, they got a few soldiers to get together in a photo to look like they were shooting the opposition! Why didn't they just throw the papers away?! So that is why I am so ignorant about there being a row between the Queen and the BBC. And personally, I don't give a damn.

Yes I do give a toss when accuracy and truth in reporting on the publically-funded BBC is tossed aside to make a cheap headline. The fact that the 'victim' is the Queen is noteworthy only in as much as she is a regular target for the BBC's favourite 'comedians' and this episode gives one more example of BBC bias.
Listen to the radio for some amzingly biassed reporting about Palestine - it is breathtakingly anti-Israeli.
We once held the BBC up as an example of objective reporting and news delivery - now it is fast becoming undefendable.

I thought it was good footage to show our Queen losing her rag....she's entitled too same as we are from time to time.
(albeit it they got it the wrong way round)
I think you could have used another word other than 'toss' as that implies that you couldn't care less about the Queen when I'm sure that is not the case.
Anything news about royality causes a stir in this country. Perhaps the next generation of royals will take a more european approach to their duties, as I'm sure the Queen would love to have done had she been given the opportunity over the years.
The Queen is very dedicated to her job but she would appreciate a bit more freedom because as shown in the footage yesterday that she can't be assed with the wearing of stuffy outmoded regalia.
Yes and I agree with James M...the BBC and I think that those who run it are a bunch of communist with Tony Blair as their co-opted leader.

Well I thought it showed her as being human and not the emotionless being that she is sometimes portrayed to be. In the country I currently live in Thailand even to suggest a fly-on-the-wall documentary about the Thai royal family would lead to a term in prison and perhaps a long one as well.
So good on the BBC and good on the Queen.
The only problem is a loss of trust again in the BBC. The corporation really seems to be loosing its way.

Why would anyone want to know about that stuff anyway! IMO the queen is just someone that sits there and waves every now and then and the BBC is a TV Station who trys to entertain! So why would I care if the Queen had a problem with the BBCs new advertising

No idea why it's headline news. It's like saying "News Flash! Queen is Human!"
Did anybody really think that the Queen didn't get in a mood every now and again?
Don't really know why the BBC felt compelled to report it. Well I do - because it gets headlines for some reason. It's the big brother, fly-on-the-wall mentality that does my head in. It's so mediocre it's not true, and it's not what I'm paying my licence fee for. I'm fed up with paying stupid journalists for making up stupid news. I think if this is the best or the worst they can come up with then the licence fee should be reconsidered.

We should all care passionately, not because the Queen was involved (that's beside the point) but because the BBC is a national broadcaster funded by the public's licence fee and we should expect and demand, reportage that is truthful, fair and impartial.
A democracy is based upon these principles and we should stand up for them.

I give a toss! I am not too interested in this story per se.
We pay the TV license for the BBC's journalistic standards and its impartiality. Our privilege for paying the TV license is that the BBC, as a public service, is accountable to the public. The Hutton inquiry, Blue peter and now this makes you question their professional integrity.

Stirring the royal cr@p again they never miss an opportunity and they need to be censured.
There is to much of this ignorance and lack of respect going on in this country and I think a lot of it is brought about by the media and squabbling politicians..
