Hitler grabbing Czechoslovakia was not one of the causes of World War II (unification with Austria wasn't either). It was an example of Western appeasement and weakness. The main cause behind World War II was Germany's attack of Poland on September 1, 1939, and France's and Britain's treaty obligations to in turn declare war on Germany. Czech half of Czechoslovakia was incorporated into Germany before the outbreak of the war while Slovakia allied with Germany and took part in the invasion of Poland.

It was Hitler snatching the Sudetenland (German part of Czechoslovakia) that caused tension, and then his breaking of the Munich Treaty, was one of the causes of WWII.
