Then please explain to me what I don't know about homosexuals? I know you will be thinking why I am asking this question - but I really want to know the facts. You just pass a comment at me saying that I am ignorant, but you don't back it up with facts.

If you can give me true facts, then I will learn something more about your way of life. I am a heterosexual, and I could just spew stereotypical crap on you like a lot of people do - but I don't - because I want to learn about your way of life.

Gays live a "If it feels good, Do it" life style. Because of this they never really fell like they have everything they need. It's the attitude, if only being gay wasn't considered a mental illness, if only gays could be accepted, if only gays could get married, if only there were 'hate crime' laws, if only gays could adopt.... we would be truly happy. Except when they get what they ask for they find that they still aren't happy, so they seek more.

Hey Tom Cruise fan, thanks for your post. Don't take such comments at heart. There are days that 30% of all posts here exist of gay bashing, so people sometimes EXPECT that any post which is a little bit less ordinary MUST be negative, if only somewhere between the lines. That's only, unfortunately, normal. Suppose that for some reason you are stepped on your toes 10 times per day... you would become really careful with anyone coming too close :)

Compare it to jewish people. If they hear someone say "I don't like jews" they get a shiver down the spine because all they can think of are the words pogrom/ antisemitism/ holocaust/ israel must be bombed and so on.

I must say this is only the reaction on the internet. Because this is the channel gay bashers use - it is safe to bash incognito somewhere behind a computer.

So now you know something more about gays. We are internet-sensitive :):) I can't back that up with facts or numbers though. Did I do a good job with my 30% ?

Good luck to you!

I didn't see what you had posted before, but I do agree that:

1. I've seen some very offensive questions here
2. Don't take it to heart!

Just like there are blacks (African Americans if you want to be PC) who still say whites (Caucasian) are evil because of events before, and whites who think the same of blacks, there will always be people who think that you are offensive, and it could be for a lot of reasons.

Many gays are persecuted, and some become too protective. Some just think 'Gays and heterosexuals can't live together'.

My suggestion, find people like those who have posted here, who won't take offense, and want to answer your questions; but do ask specific ones so we know what it is you'd like to know.

I, myself, would love to answer, discuss, and see people learning more about each other!

I'm not sure what facts you want. My way of life is the same as yours. I wake up in the morning and think, "Sh*t, I'm still so tired... I don't want to get up". Then I force myself out of bed and eat 3 bowls of cereal. Then I go to a job, come home, work on a jigsaw puzzle, go see a movie with a friend, go to bed when I get tired.

When I fall in love it's the same as anyone else. I love the person for reasons that can be said and for reasons that are just felt and couldn't possibly be explained. I have the same sort of feelings you do and I do the same sort of things.

If you have specific questions, keep asking them. I don't mind answering.

Hey, I remember answering your deleted question from yesterday. And no, you did not come across as someone ignorant or offensive. I am sorry if you felt that way. Please do not take it all to heart. Sometimes we get so many bashers it is really difficult to decide who is being honest here.

Please lighten up, and I am sure there are many people on here who will not give you a hard time. Those that do, either ignore them or report them. It has to work both ways :-) Cheerio.

I don't think you're ignorant. But what, exactly, was the original question? Yes, there certainly are unhappy, lonely gay people. There are unhappy, lonely straight people, too. Is there more to the question?

If you're asking honest questions and seeking answers to expand your understanding, then good for you and shame on anybody who gives you a hard time!

no, I don't think you're ignorant about homosexuals.I just think some people can take it the wrong way. Some people are just plain bitchy on here.I have seen way more ignorant questions on here then this about homosexuals and they haven't been reported.

I re-read the question like 500 times I don't see the ignorance..and I'm gay-just move on and take the answers with a grain of salt

Unfortunately, we don't know what you DO know about homosexuals that is based in FACT. It looks to me like you're just trying to stir the pot and provoke people.

Prove me wrong. Ask a SPECIFIC question you want to know the answer to, and let the community help answer it. Maybe the WAY you ask questions annoys people.

well, I answered your previous question and never thought for a moment that you were ignorant about homosexuality. We are the same as everyone else...except for who we are sexually attracted to. I think you understand that perfectly well.

There is pretty much nothing different. Then only difference is that we like the same gender person. But don't forget, we still like people.
