I took my 2 little girls to the dentist the other day, and the older one (almost 5) was crying and very upset about the whole process, my little one (almost 3) comforted her big sister and told her that everything would be okay and that it wouldn't hurt. The sweetest thing :)
It was inspiring to me to see my child being compassionate and empathetic towards someone in distress.

I have been most fortunate to have had many inspirational moments. One of the best was when I had the opportunity to take a field trip to the Museum of Modern Art in New York, when I lived in California. It was February of 2005, when Jean-Claude and Christo's "The Gates" was installed in Central Park. I went to Central Park twice, and to the Museum of Modern Art twice. I couldn't get enough of them. To see the paintings and sculpture I have seen so often in slides or magazines, in person, was amazing. It cemented for me my decision that I must have a practice as an artist.

The most inspirational moment to me came through a conversation I had with a lady from work. She and I share a mutual prayer list. She told me of three cases, in particular, all of whom has cancer and who denied conventional treatments, which includes chemo and radiology treatments. All of these patients were healed by faithful and fervent prayer and by their beliefs in God and His healing power. I wrote a blog on these cases, as well as other entitled, "Miracles Do Happen".

last time i sit in the beach at night looking at the dark see and the sky which was full of stars i thought about myself alot and about my friends and our future
