There is nothing wrong with just army crawling at 10 months old. When he is ready he will begin to crawl and walk. Let him go at his own pace. Army crawling is a good indication that he is on the right track. Relax enjoy your baby while you can!

My son army crawled long after he was standing. Encourage him to stand with you holding him, if you don't already. Otherwise, just let him develop at his pace. If he's still not standing at a year, then it will be time to mention it to the doctor. Before that, he's just on the later end of normal. Some babies develop in gradual steps, others will go in big spurts. Perhaps he's a spurter and will just suddenly get up and going at once.

First of all this isn't a problem and you shouldn't expect him to be walking at 10 months, or even holding himself up on his own if he doesn't want to.
There is nothing wrong with him, and nothing wrong with crawling, it is a far better way for him to get his toys or you!
Let him figure it out on his own, in his own time. Soon enough you'll be chasing him around the house!

My son is 10 months old too. I haven't had that problem, but everybody's child is different. Trust that your son will walk... I mean, it's not like he's just never going to walk. Every baby's body is different. Some are more wobbly, some are less coordinated, but in the end, everything pretty much evens out and everybody catches up with their peers.

Give yourself and the kid a break! Babies don't have a schedule and do things when they're ready...and not before! So long as he has varied stimulation and safe environment in which he can experiment he will be fine! If you are still worried see your child health care nurse. I found the jolly jumper good for building leg strength but he may be too big now. You're doing a good job!

He will walk when he is ready. Just get him used to standing by holding him under the arms and letting him bounce on his feet.
