A couple years ago (borrowing a USSR communist title Czar) Bush created the 2nd in Commander-in-Chief position of "War Czar" to take overall command of the War on Terror, meaning the War in Iraq (though never the twain shall meet)

We haven't heard anything from him since. and I never see his name anywhere in the news.

Anyone see him lately? Shouldn’t he be pretty prominent with all the news from Iraq and Afghanistan, the surge in full swing, the September deadline approaching, the GOP re-election rats abandoning the ship etc.?

He is not allowed to speak in public until Cheney and Barbara Bush tell Bush what to tell the Czar to say. Once they have advised him and had him practice, then he will come out of a hole (sort of like a ground hog) and contribute his bit before they put him back in his hole.

He's home trying to explain to his wife why he took the job.
