I am a total Harry Potter fanatic, and though the movie wasn't a complete disappointment to me in terms of special effects and cast, it still made me utterly frustrated and somewhat disappointed on how they translated the book into the movie. The whole storyline was just off, they changed too much of it (budgeting maybe?). I would've understood though if they just cut some scenes, but to change a lot of the events was just too much. I do feel a little sad about how a lot of people who never read the books would never know how great the real story was though because the movie didn't even come close to showing it..
i guess if one never read the book though, it may not be as bad (or maybe it is?), but aren't you guys kinda annoyed that there were hardly any action scenes as well? and that book was supposed to have a whole lot.. the finale (as what they call it in the IMAX screening) only showed about 1/8 of all the action that should have transpired if you base it on the book.. really really disappointing..

It wasn't the best, but as I die hard Harry Potter fan, I believe that was because the fifth year is the transition to let us all know that Voldemort is truly back and now all the wizards know it. The next one is when they actually start the war, so it will be a lot better. I am pretty sure this one just did its job to prepare us for the war or next films to come. I do agree though, I was let down.

I'm a loyal Harry Potter fan and I was dissapointed about how badly they adapted the book to the movie. I suppose that if you had never read the books, it was awesome. If those "master-minds" are behind the next film, I don't know if i want to see it. But of course, I want to see how bad it is, plus I have to see it because the words 'Harry Potter' in it.

i became truly upset additionally. i actually HATED whilst they added the "attack on the burrow". That became somewhat pointless, and the section the place the inferi dragged Harry decrease than water? there became no want for them to function stuff that didnt happen whilst they took out stuff that did happen. It in basic terms makes me so mad. They took out the completed commencing up with the Dursley's and Dumbledore, they took out in actuality the completed combat at Hogwarts. the only stable section with regards to the action picture became that it became truly truly humorous. and you will like it extra yet i became sitting in only about perfect seats and that i nevertheless became upset. Haha yet oh properly we could see what they do with The Deathly Hallows. :]

Same here, they skipped out alot on the movie. But I think it was the best one out of them all. The fighting scene was the best with Dumbledore and Voldemort.

I haven't seen it yet but considering what a sleeper the book was, I'm not holding my breath for the movie to be any better.
