If a person is in a COMMITTED relationship, they shouldn't be playing elsewhere, online or offline, and should expect the same standard of behaviour from their partner.
There are some people who are openly flirty as part of their personality and will always engage in a little light horseplay with others which, their partner knows, does not amount to anything (it would make ME cringe but others seem prepared to tolerate it).
HOWEVER, if they are doing it privately (and online usually implies this) or secretly, then it's going too far and, to me, constitutes cheating.
Can you trust a cheat? In the very mildest cases, like flirting (and I do believe there are degrees depending on personal tolerance* levels) you can't really trust them to have much self control ... or dignity for that matter ... and as for out-and-out adulterers, you can't trust them to have any respect for their partner at all.
* My own personal tolerance level is nil and my trust is easily lost ... but everyone is different and I know that to be true.

I think it's cheating to have an online thing. I don't really know what kind of "relationship" you can actually have online but..it's cheating and of course you can't trust a cheat.

Depends on whether the type of online relationship. People can change but getting trust back takes time.

i don't think it's cheating. But, I wouldn't trust a cheat either. That is why people shouldn't get emotionally involved with a person they have never talked to, etc.

hmm difficult to say x im in an online realationship x im not cheating because i have no ties x but the guy does have ties x can you trust me - yes x can you trust him - dont think so - would have to ask his wife x
