well ever since i had my baby (which just over 5 months ago) i have noticed that my wrists hurt alot... my left one hurts alot more then my right one, BUT, on noticed a hard lump on my right wrist a little bit farther down then where the thumb stops. when i feel my left wrist it all feels the same cept it doesnt have the lump. the last couple of days it has gotten a tiny bit smaller. i was wondering if this sounds like a calcium deposit or not? i was drinking alot of milk when i was pregnant because i was told that babies suck the calcium right out of you, but i stopped drinking as much after i had her because i really dont like milk it upsets my stomac. but just doing anything hurts my wrists do you think that its possible that i dont have enough calicium in my body and thats why my wrists are hurting? thanks for the advance... bt the way... i would go to the doctors and all but my husband is in the middle of switching to a better job so his insurance hasnt kicked in yet for us...

It's very possible that it could be a calcium deposit. Because of how much your wrists hurt they definitely need to be evaluated by a doctor and because it's going to be some time til the new insurance kicks in check with the city's health dept to see if they offer a free clinic to see if they can help with this pain you have going.

In the mean time you could try applying heat to the area to see if that helps some of the pain. You can try to do it using a warm, wet face towel to the area to do this.
